Carbon Ghana Ltd. takes part in carbon market transactions, primarily through the development of carbon credit revenues under the Kyoto Mechanisms (CDM & VER). Carbon Ghana Ltd. also provides the services that support the registration as required by the rules and procedures of the CDM Executive Board and national governments.
Carbon Ghana Ltd in affiliation with its Annex I country entity Carbon Swiss AG engages in energy investments through CDM projects, especially those that take gas to markets (e.g. capture and marketing of gas from flares, landfills and mines). The main sectors that we operate in are the upstream oil and gas sector, energy efficiency, electrical efficiency, and renewable energy. The geographical focus is solely on the West African Republic of Ghana where the company has its growing experience and networks, including local partners and governmental contacts.
